Day 24

well boys we have done it. We have found our bats!!!!!! i have no idea where they were lost to but apparently they were somewhere in the valley. The combined temperature of the two days, 67, doesnt even match the coldest day while in florida. Anyways, im glad we beat the shit out of those NERDS!!

For the rest of the season, according to Dan, Deuces is now banned. It is WAYYYY too distracting to the batter, especially when he is righthanded and has his back to us, and the only thing we say the entire time is, "PULL." Yeah your right, totally messes up the College Athlete's focus.

Thank you to almost all the fans for coming out for the opener, it was really appreciated.

ok im getting straight to it. I HATE losing. i hate it. I hate it more than cheating women, more than Brussels sprouts, more than womens sports, more than AJ pierzinski, and even more than Carthage. Look, people can say stop pressing but thats just code for you guys fucking suck. so how about this, have fun. Beat fucking ass. as long as we do the fundamentals right, everything else will come. we're barely a quarter of the way through the season so no worries, just have fun and think about the women's track team, just try not to say anything about them while we're on the bus...

Day 22

Not really much to say about this weekend. we did a good job taking 3 of 4. i really wish the umpires all weekend wouldn't have been so terrible. But hey, that's what you get from OAC umpires. oh and just throwing it out there, as long as time hasn't been called, you don't have to step off the mound to appeal a runner leaving early. Just throwing it out there... Oh and chat roulette combined with #35 = Greatness!!!

Day 21

We have safely arrived back home and yes! both our house and the green house are still standing!! mark one in the win column for us. Anyways, Dayton sucks. 3 hours in traffic is not my idea of a good time. Freshman and sophomores and juniors,  i speak on behalf of the entire senior class when i say your movie selections were TERRIBLE!! "American Pie Book Of...Nobody Cares" and "College" had to have been two of your best choices of the whole trip. Movie privileges are very very close to being completely revoked.
The NCAA basketball tournament is starting today, good luck to everyone, hope you picked Utah St to the final four like i did, or if your really good you picked butler, morehead,temple, UK and WVU and pitt. otherwise you'll have lots of red on your bracket. Good luck to all and totally stoked for 4 games in 2 days!

Day 20

Word of the Day: "Supposedly"

I'm sorry to announce that the highly ranked No. 41 Carthage college fell to the "Supposedly" No. 1 ranked Heidelberg University today. Carthage just ran out of pitching after five games, no pitcher having higher than 7 innings pitched, and a center fielder with an attitude and dad to match. I'm very proud of the fight put up by the red men today, they really fought like a No. 41 team on and off the field. To all our hitters, thank you, I enjoy close games, but if we could possibly try and jump out earlier I wouldn't have to waste my high quality fastballs and we could go straight to the closer. Anyways, good win. One more and its a great trip
