Day 26

Its been while I know. I'm deeply saddened I haven't written in a while and as I sit here and listen to Dr. Bing I have been inspired to write. Last week willmington was an absolute joke. All twelve guys on their team didn't want to be there, thoough their third baseman was an absolute player, derek you may have a new best friend cause ou two seem perfect fot each other. Next came northern. The wind was blowing in at about 20mph. and hat was our downfal. Eventhough we got great pitching performances we just kept hitting every single hard hit ball right at their players. I think if there wwere a count taken on numbr of brea,s for and breaks against us, we're in the hole by bout 1000 so hopefully law of averages catches up with uus soon we could use it.
Yesterday was the Etta Express. I don't think the average peerson reizes homw much we absolutely hate those fuckers. Like I cannot stand them, you are not the new york yankees your coach is terrible, I maye have heard some of the worst logic in arguing a call yesterday, my 12 yr old cousin has better logic than that bohemmith. That said, they kicked oour ass game one. Our buttholes were opened and taken advantage of multiple times. However, thanks to their arrogance we were able ro get off to a good start in game 2. Thank you for the runs. We did a good job of coming back and shoving it down their throats that we are better than them. Also there were def some rns scored in both games byboth teams that woulld not have been scored had there not been a tornado riight next door. Sorry #27 that homerun was for sure a popup. Hell my weak ass prolly coulda hit one out yesterday. Congrats to #1 for hitting the scoreboard, even if it was just the pole. #38 took one of the best bp's I've seen in a long time, yesterday was your day. Tip my cap to mr gasser though, that was a hell of a performance, complete control and command or three pitches is always nice to have. Looking ahead, BW Tuesday. Let's keep the energy up for them and maybe there'll be a reemrgence of the famous 2seam. Att his point, I have sucessfully ignored bing's entire lecture and it is now time for softball, goodnight wales vagina.

Day 25

ok i know i havent been on here to write in a while but ive had a lot going on. School Baseball Baseball Baseball Sleep Baseball Broken Mirror Broken Door Standing Ovations Baseball Baseball Baseball. See lots of busy stuff. It was a very happy day in new concord today. 10-3 x2 is a great way to open up conference play. First time in four years that we've actually opened 2-0 so also a nice start to the new season. Florida and everything before conference is just developmental for conference. This is where it counts, this is our new season and can't start it any better than 2-0. Keep working boys.

Also, we may never get to go to Chipotle again because extra meat costs 2 bucks extra and 19 people decided to get etra meat. So next time we go, if we go, please be courteous, i would like a rec center sometime in the next 25 years.

Day 24

well boys we have done it. We have found our bats!!!!!! i have no idea where they were lost to but apparently they were somewhere in the valley. The combined temperature of the two days, 67, doesnt even match the coldest day while in florida. Anyways, im glad we beat the shit out of those NERDS!!

For the rest of the season, according to Dan, Deuces is now banned. It is WAYYYY too distracting to the batter, especially when he is righthanded and has his back to us, and the only thing we say the entire time is, "PULL." Yeah your right, totally messes up the College Athlete's focus.

Thank you to almost all the fans for coming out for the opener, it was really appreciated.

ok im getting straight to it. I HATE losing. i hate it. I hate it more than cheating women, more than Brussels sprouts, more than womens sports, more than AJ pierzinski, and even more than Carthage. Look, people can say stop pressing but thats just code for you guys fucking suck. so how about this, have fun. Beat fucking ass. as long as we do the fundamentals right, everything else will come. we're barely a quarter of the way through the season so no worries, just have fun and think about the women's track team, just try not to say anything about them while we're on the bus...

Day 22

Not really much to say about this weekend. we did a good job taking 3 of 4. i really wish the umpires all weekend wouldn't have been so terrible. But hey, that's what you get from OAC umpires. oh and just throwing it out there, as long as time hasn't been called, you don't have to step off the mound to appeal a runner leaving early. Just throwing it out there... Oh and chat roulette combined with #35 = Greatness!!!

Day 21

We have safely arrived back home and yes! both our house and the green house are still standing!! mark one in the win column for us. Anyways, Dayton sucks. 3 hours in traffic is not my idea of a good time. Freshman and sophomores and juniors,  i speak on behalf of the entire senior class when i say your movie selections were TERRIBLE!! "American Pie Book Of...Nobody Cares" and "College" had to have been two of your best choices of the whole trip. Movie privileges are very very close to being completely revoked.
The NCAA basketball tournament is starting today, good luck to everyone, hope you picked Utah St to the final four like i did, or if your really good you picked butler, morehead,temple, UK and WVU and pitt. otherwise you'll have lots of red on your bracket. Good luck to all and totally stoked for 4 games in 2 days!

Day 20

Word of the Day: "Supposedly"

I'm sorry to announce that the highly ranked No. 41 Carthage college fell to the "Supposedly" No. 1 ranked Heidelberg University today. Carthage just ran out of pitching after five games, no pitcher having higher than 7 innings pitched, and a center fielder with an attitude and dad to match. I'm very proud of the fight put up by the red men today, they really fought like a No. 41 team on and off the field. To all our hitters, thank you, I enjoy close games, but if we could possibly try and jump out earlier I wouldn't have to waste my high quality fastballs and we could go straight to the closer. Anyways, good win. One more and its a great trip
